Abstract

The Research problem was represented by the following question (What is the reflection of the utilitarian paradigm on the design of modern Industrial products?), and its significance is proven by designing the Industrial product according to the utilitarian paradigm. The objective of the research is to determine the principles of the utilitarian paradigm and their reflection on modern Industrial product design. The research was limited to Industrial products that were designed according to the utilitarian paradigm between the years 2020-2022 AD. The descriptive approach was adopted in analyzing the sample. The research community included Industrial products that are beneficial to all users and won the International Association for Universal Design for all (IAUD) award between the year (2020-2022 AD). The sample models were analyzed through a form specifying the axes of analysis to reach the research results, and the most significant of which is verifying the principles of the utilitarian paradigm in designing the modern Industrial products.
